Transfer to Junior Education September 2025

The timescale for admissions to Kensington Junior Academy for September 2025 are as follows:

• If your child was born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018 and is in their last year at infant school, you should apply for their junior school place by 15 January 2025. You'll be able to apply from 11 November 2024.
• The application process is quick and easy and you can apply for a place here: Derbyshire County Council - Apply for a School Place
• You'll get your offer on 16 April 2025. 

Mid-year transfers to Kensington Junior Academy

Any requests for admission mid-year will be dealt with by Derbyshire County Council.
